Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif participated in a Special Dialogue and Gala Dinner hosted by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Special Meeting in Riyadh.

During the event, Prime Minister Shehbaz engaged in discussions with the Crown Prince, extending congratulations to the Saudi leadership for the successful organization of the WEF Special Meeting and commending the excellent arrangements made by the hosts.

Prime Minister Shehbaz conveyed prayers and good wishes for the health, happiness, and longevity of His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. In addition to discussions on bilateral ties, the regional situation, particularly focusing on the crisis in Gaza, was also deliberated upon.

During the dialogue, Prime Minister Shehbaz reiterated his invitation to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to undertake an official visit to Pakistan at the earliest convenience.

Recalling their recent meeting in Makkah during his visit to Saudi Arabia in Ramadan, Prime Minister Shehbaz expressed gratitude to the Crown Prince for sending a high-powered delegation to Pakistan, led by Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah. The delegation engaged in extensive discussions with their Pakistani counterparts on ways to enhance Saudi investments in Pakistan.

To further the dialogue and collaboration, Prime Minister Shehbaz revealed that he has brought along a high-powered delegation to Riyadh, including key Ministers responsible for investment. This move aims to facilitate follow-up meetings between relevant officials and advance discussions on enhancing Saudi investments in Pakistan.
