Recently, Rihanna’s tweet about the ongoing unrest in India about the farmer’s protest made the headlines. Many lauded the pop singer to raise her voice against the brutality, while others shunned her calling her Pakistani agent.
Famous personalities such as Susan Sarandon, Greta Thunberg,ย Meena Harris, and Mia Khalifa too shared a similar stance and were met with trolling and abuse by the Indians. Many Indians took to the streets and protested against Rihanna, Meena and Mia as they chanted slogans and burned their posters for speaking up on the matter.
Amid the social media war, the former adult star has taken it to another level. Recently, she called out Bollywood icon Priyanka Chopra for staying mum on the protest. Mia, in her tweet, wrote,
“Is Mrs. Jonas going to chime in at any point? Iโm just curious. This is very much giving me Shakira during the Beirut devastation vibes. Silence.”
This led to many others questioning the silence of PC over the matter.
Priyanka Chopra is yet to respond, however, others have already started responding on her behlaf.
