The Islamabad High Court (IHC) reserved its decision on a unique appeal challenging the shutdown of Monal restaurant on Monday, without allowing the applicant to remove items from the premises.
The IHC accepted an inter-court petition against the restaurant’s closure order. During the trial, Justice Amir Farooq remarked that once the single bench releases its thorough verdict, many aspects will be revealed.

“Once the stuff is picked, the facility will be sealed,” he stated.
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) was unsure what to do with the eatery, according to Justice Farooq, and the restaurant’s attorney was concerned that the CDA might pass it over to some other business.
“There is zero doubt that no commercial business will take place on the area where the restaurant is constructed,” Justice continued.

Following Monal’s seizure, the restaurant’s lawyer predicted a law and order crisis. “No such scenario will be developed, since the seizure will take place in the presence of a magistrate” Justice Farooq declared.
The restaurant’s lawyer asserted for keeping the structure in its existing state during the session. “You can take the permission to transfer the goods outside the premises,” Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb stated. “However, a suitable formal order will be made in this respect.”
