Bilal Asim and Uzair Khan joined the Bank of Punjab Junior National Ranking Tennis Championship 2021 boys U-18 final on Thursday after topping their respective semifinals at the PLTA Courts.

Bilal Asim faced up against the brilliant Haider Ali Rizwan in the first boys U-18 semifinal. Both players exhibited high-level tennis abilities, and after a difficult struggle, Bilal won the marathon match in three sets, 4-6, 6-4, 6-2.
Haider got off to a fast start, winning the first set 6-4, but Bilal made a strong comeback, first facing some resistance from Haider before winning the second set 6-4, and then entering the third set with more energy and succeeding in winning it safely with a score of 6-2, securing a spot in the final against Uzair Khan.
The U-12 doubles semifinals were also quite exciting, with Hamza Ali Rizwan and Zohaib Afzal Malik playing excellent tennis against Abdur Rehman and Nabeel Qayum and winning 4-1, 5-3.

The second semifinal was a dramatic fight in which Ismail and Omer defeated Abubakar Talha and Abdul Basit with a score of 4-1, 4-4(8), 10-7.
The event’s finals will be played tomorrow (Friday). The closing ceremony will be attended by senior Bank of Punjab officials, while PLTA Secretary Rashid Malik, tennis players and their families, and tennis lovers will be present to watch the high-quality tennis finals.
