Junaid Safdar, the son of PML-N President Maryam Nawaz and Captain Safdar, will hold his valima (wedding reception) in Lahore, and the date has been set.
During the hearing of Maryam Nawaz’s case in Islamabad’s accountability court, her counsel, Azam Nazir Tarar, verified the date of the ceremony as December 17. As a result, he requested the court to reschedule the next hearing.

Junaid Safdar married Ayesha Saif, the daughter of Nawaz Sharif’s long-term supporter Saif-ur-Rehman, on August 22 in London, and photographs and videos of their nikkah went popular on social media.
Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, who now resides in London, was also present at the event.

Maryam Nawaz and her spouse, on the other hand, were unable to attend the wedding ceremony because her name has been placed to the exit control list (ECL), which prevents her from going abroad until the legal charges against her are resolved.
