As per the incident’s First Information Report, 29-year-old Nayab Nadeem, a model by profession, was strangled to death at her home in DHA Phase-V by unidentified suspects.

Police reported on Sunday that a model was discovered deceased at her home in Lahore’s Defence neighbourhood under dubious circumstances.

The action was filed on behalf of one of the dead girl’s two stepbrothers.

Based on preliminary findings, Defence B Police Station SHO Nayyar Nisar stated that the girl was strangled, but that the post-mortem examination will disclose the truth about her demise.

Muhammad Ali, the accuser, said that he went to his sister’s house on July 9 at about midnight and saw her lying dead unclothed. In a statement, he claimed, “There were scars on my sister’s neck.”

He went on to say that he discovered a broken net on her bathroom window. He stated that he thought his sister had been killed and asked that the culprits be brought to justice.

Ali stated that he had been visiting her sister’s residence on a daily basis for a year to enquire about her well-being and assist her with groceries.

Nayab Nadeem, according to the complaint, lived alone in the residence and was not married.

In May, a British lady of Pakistani ancestry was discovered dead in her leased residence in Lahore’s DHA.

She was shot to death and identified as Mayra (25). She had returned from the United Kingdom, where her family had relocated, about two months before.

A case was filed against two persons in connection with the woman’s death.
