Prime Minister Imran Khan will pay a day-long visit to Naran, a medium-sized town in the upper Kaghan Valley in the Mansehra District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

According to local news reports citing insiders, the premier would be informed of the efforts being done to develop Pakistan’s tourist sector. During his brief visit, Khan will also inaugurate a number of tourism-related initiatives.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mehmood Khan and Governor Shah Farman will accompany the Premier. In Naran, he will meet with local Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf leaders, renowned figures, and senior authorities.

The premier will also attend a trout farming event at Kunhar River, where he will also address the Tiger Force in Naran, as part of a tree-planting programme.

Imran Khan had previously urged the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to tap into its vast tourist potential. To deal with environmental issues in KP, the PM offered the province administration of his full assistance in promoting tourism and conserving forests.
