According to Geo News, Mufti Aziz-ur-Rehman, who was detained for sexually assaulting a seminary student, has admitted to the act.
According to a report by a private news station citing police sources, the clergyman confessed to duping the victim into performing the sexual act. He acknowledged that he was included in the frightening viral video, which was covertly shot by his pupil.
He also informed cops that when the video became public, he was scared. In addition, my son had previously threatened the victim with dire consequences if she spoke to anybody about the event.

In his statement, the accused further stated that he told the youngster not to share the video. He went on to say, “I released an explanatory video statement since I did not want to leave the seminary, but the administration eventually requested me to leave the school with immediate effect.”
According to police sources, Rehman, who left with his two sons after a video of a seminary student being raped went viral, lived at several houses of his pupils in Township, Sheikhupura, and Faisalabad while police launched a manhunt. Later, during a CIA raid in Mianwali, he was captured.
As per sources, the child molester reportedly admitted that he feels “extremely embarrassed” of what he did since he was “distracted” during the terrible crime.

Mufti Azizur Rehman, a former JUI leader and seminary instructor, was detained in Mianwali on Sunday.
When the police came to the student’s local madrassa in Lahore after a video went popular on social media, the case was lodged on the student’s complaint.
The case was filed at the North Cantt police station after the student filed a complaint under Sections 377 and 506 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
