From June 3, the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) will begin scheduling Covid-19 vaccination for residents over the age of 18.
“In today’s NCOC meeting it was agreed to start scheduling immunisation of registrants 18 plus from Thursday the 3rd of June,” said Planning and Development Minister Asad Umar, who also chairs the NCOC.

On May 27, the government began enrolling citizens aged 18 and up for the Covid-19 vaccine.
Asad Umar stated on Sunday that Pakistan has established a new record for the number of Covid-19 vaccination given in a single day after almost 400,000 individuals received Covid vaccines on Saturday. Asad Umar said on Twitter that over 383,000 individuals received Covid injections on Saturday, setting a new record for the most vaccines in a single day.
