Following Christian Betzmann’s derogatory remarks about Pakistan and insensitive stance on the Palestine issue, Zoya Nasir has cancelled her engagement with him.
Nasir wrote on social media that Christian’s shift in attitude toward her “community, government, people, and insensitivity toward [her] faith” prompted her to “take this painful and irreversible step.”
On Instagram, Zoya said, “It’s with a heavy heart that I’m declaring that Christian Betzmann and I are no longer engaged to be married.” “There are certain religious and social lines that cannot be broken no matter what, which is why we have decided to part ways.”

“Humility, patience, and reverence for one another are qualities that we must all stick to,” the actor said. I pray to Allah to give me the courage to live with this earthly emotional devastation.”
“Chris, I wish you a bright and happy future,” she said. “Space and anonymity for myself and my family as we continue to handle this emotional turmoil,” Zoya asked their fans and followers.

On February 19, Zoya and Christian declared their engagement, and they were officially planning to marry this year.
Meanwhile, in response to some followers who asked him to speak out about the Palestinian issue, Betzmann said on Friday that he thinks social media has never aided in any political event and that third-world country strikes are pointless and a waste of time.
“It’s best to go pray because prayer is the only thing third-world countries can do,” the German Vlogger continued, noting that “first-world countries are built on doers.”
Christian, who had just converted to Islam, went on to state that “prayer does nothing” and that “you can’t do anything.”
He also urged Pakistanis to enjoy themselves as much as possible because “you never know when your country will be next.”
