Sumbul Shahid, an actor, died after a struggle with Covid.
Shahid, whose sisters Bushra Ansari and Asma Abbas are also actresses, was on a ventilator in a private Lahore hospital, and some members of the acting community had requested prayers for her.
Ansari had written on Instagram about Shahid and their mother’s illness and called for prayers for them.

Bushra Iqbal, a producer and TV host, prayed for Shahid.
