Pakistani officials have announced that China’s CanSino Bio coronavirus vaccine will be produced locally beginning next month.
According to NIH officials, the preparations for CanSino Bio’s coronavirus vaccine have been completed, and the raw material for the vaccine will arrive in Pakistan next week.
The National Institute of Health has begun a partnership with a Chinese firm, and a scientist from the company will also be present in the federal capital to assist in the planning of the vaccine. In addition, the experts taught NIH professionals how to prepare vaccine doses.

The single-dose vaccinations will be available for mass vaccination by the end of May.
According to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), at least 151 people died as a result of the third outbreak of the novel coronavirus epidemic, with 5,480 new cases identified in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, Asad Umar, the chief of the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), announced today that the government will begin vaccinations for people aged 40 to 49 on Monday, May 3.
