Shaan Shahid, a well-known Pakistani film star, turned 50 on Tuesday.

The Waar actor took to Twitter to express his gratitude to his fans and well-wishers for their affection, appreciation, and well-wishes. “Thank you Pakistan for all the love, gratitude, prayers, and best wishes,” he wrote. Many of his fans replied with heartfelt birthday greetings for the star, who is now the father of four beautiful daughters — Raanay Shahid, Bahisht-i-Bareen Shahid, Shah Bano Shahid, and Fatima Shahid.

Shaan, the son of Neelo and Riaz Shahid, is better identified by his given name Armaghan Shahid. He began his acting career in 1990 and has since established himself as an actress, producer, model, editor, and film director.

Shaan attended Aitchison College and Newtown High School in New York. In 1990, he made his film debut at the age of 19 in the film Bulandi. He is well-known for his grooming and elegance, and he has served as an ambassador for a number of Pakistani and multinational companies.
